Noni Kuhner

Noni’s first taste of radio came at 2MG in Mudgee, where her dad Peter was working in the 90’s. It was there that she voiced her first ad at the tender age of three!

Since then, radio has been in her blood, with memories of pinching her sister’s CD player to create the perfect fade effect when playing pretend, and a degree in Commercial Radio from Charles Sturt University under her belt.

Since graduating, Noni has worked at community and commercial stations in her home town of Dubbo, Bathurst, and Canberra, as well as writing for BMA Magazine in Canberra.

She’s passionate about a range of issues, but is particularly vocal about mental health, support for those with epilepsy and seizure conditions, and disability issues including making radio and media careers more accessible for all.

When she’s not at the station, Noni can be found hanging out with her dog, Molly, playing video games, or working on her next writing project.

You can hear her on 2WEB Local News at 6am, 7am & 8am, 12 & 1pm, and 5 & 6pm weekdays.
