The 2026 Marra Field Day is shaping up to be a major showcase of agriculture, livestock, innovation and rural enterprise, with an extensive lineup of studs and exhibitors now confirmed.
The free community event will be held at Marra Hall on Friday, July 10th, beginning at 10am.
Visitors can expect a packed program of livestock competitions, agricultural displays, local businesses, handmade market stalls, food and activities for the wider community.
Livestock competitions and displays
The program will include the Merino Hogget Ram Competition, Grand Champion Ewe and a competition for pens of five 2025-drop ewes, featuring short and long wool sections.
There will also be a pen of three prime lamb competition across Merino, crossbred and Dorper sections, along with the new Sheep Team Penning event.
A large selection of local and interstate studs will be on display, representing Merino, Poll Merino, Dohne, Dorper, White Dorper, Ultrawhite, Border Leicester, White Suffolk, Poll Dorset and Boer goat breeding operations.
Confirmed studs
The confirmed stud lineup includes Haddon Rig Merino Stud, Mullengudgery Merino Stud, Gullengamble Poll Merino Stud, Gundarimbah Merino Stud, Egelabra Merino Stud, Lach River Merino and White Suffolk Studs, Weealla and Raby Merino Studs, Dunbogan Merino Stud, Merryanbone North Poll Merino Stud, Glenwarra Poll Merino Stud, Towonga Merino Stud and Tambua Poll Merino Stud.
Also attending will be Gullendah Dohne and Poll Merino Studs, Calga Dohnes, Bluebush Poll Merino Stud, Poll Boonoke and Wanganella Merino Studs, Bocoble Poll Dorset Stud, Bindaree and Nundoone Border Leicester Studs, Winrae Dorpers, Etiwanda White Dorpers, Amarula Dorpers and White Dorper Stud, Culgoa Ultrawhite Stud, Bulmar Ultrawhite and Dorper Stud, Sheepmaster Parent Stud, Talbragar Border Leicester and White Suffolk, Thompson Poll Merino Stud and Dusty Downs White Dorpers and Boer Goat Stud.
Cassilis Park, Coddington Uardry Poll and Winyar Merino Studs are also among the confirmed participants.
Agricultural and community exhibitors
Twenty-five exhibitors have been confirmed for the event, including the NSW Rural Fire Service, Elders, Schute Bell Badgery Lumby Brewarrina, WARDi Broking, McMillan Agricultural Contracting, Frontier Services, Galmax Fencing, Pastoral Panels and Macdonald Rural Brewarrina.
Other exhibitors include Nutrien Ag Solutions Nyngan, Simply Angus, Elanco Animal Health, Skye Bragg Designs, Warren Shire Council, the Rural Financial Counselling Service, Dirty Gloves Nursery, Tom Cooper Yarns, Pickles Sheep Handler, Western Farm Machinery and Dusty River Services.
Farmbot Monitoring Solutions, DNW Livestock Services, Christie and Hood Livestock and Property Dubbo, AHN Consulting and Belinda Nugent, The Thermomix Lady, will also be attending.
Invention and innovation competition
The Marra Field Day Invention and Innovation Competition is encouraging people to show how their ideas can solve a problem, make a task easier or improve the future of agriculture.
The competition will include an open invention and innovation section, together with a special encouragement award for primary school-aged entrants.
Both sections are sponsored by James Newton Transport.

A free community day out
Visitors will also be able to browse handmade market stalls and exhibitor displays while enjoying morning tea and a barbecue lunch.
Entry to the Marra Field Day is free.
An auction will be held during the event, with 50 per cent of the money raised donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
