Tickets are now on sale for Under the Gums 2026, with the popular Gilgandra event returning bigger than ever on Saturday 26 September.
Set on the banks of the Castlereagh River at the Gilgandra Cultural Precinct, Under the Gums will bring together a huge line-up of Australian music, family entertainment and festival activities.
Gates will open at 1:30pm at the Gilgandra Cultural Precinct, 6452 Newell Highway.
A Huge Australian Line-up
Headlining this year’s event is The Fabulous Caprettos, featuring Dave Gleeson from The Screaming Jets and The Angels, Rai Thistlethwayte from Thirsty Merc, and multi-ARIA Award winner Wendy Matthews.
They will be joined by The Wolfe Brothers, Tori Darke, Splashpool and the Oompah Loompah Band, with the event hosted by Shooter from The Dusty Boots Podcast.
Families will also be well catered for, with appearances from Sesame Street and SpongeBob SquarePants, along with dedicated children’s entertainment, activities and a kids’ zone.
Early Bird Tickets Available Now
Early bird general admission tickets are available for $25, before increasing to the standard price of $40.
Family passes are available for $80 during the early bird period, covering up to two adults and three children. The standard family pass price will be $100.
Children aged under five can attend free, but every person entering the event must have a ticket.
Early bird pricing ends on 30 June 2026.
Upgrade to the VIP Experience
The Level Up VIP Package is available for $90 during the early bird period and includes access to a dedicated VIP area with seating and relaxation spaces.
VIP ticket holders will also receive access to an exclusive bar and food vendor, private amenities, a 360-degree photo booth, a $10 Lions Club food voucher and a $10 drink voucher for the Frothy Filly VIP bar.
The standard VIP ticket price will be $100.
Meet-and-greet tickets for Sesame Street and SpongeBob SquarePants are also available for $20 per artist. Each meet-and-greet ticket covers up to two adults and three children.
Part of a Huge Gilgandra Weekend
Under the Gums is the flagship event of the Goin’ to Gil Festival Weekend, which will feature a packed program of activities across Gilgandra.
The weekend will include the Gil Triathlon, Colour Run, watermelon-eating competition, Coo-ee Call Competition, Gilgandra Alive’s Local Legends busking and the street parade.
Under the Gums is an outdoor event, and general admission patrons are encouraged to bring their own chair.
