The Arthur Musso Hooper Shield Knockout will bring a big day of rugby league and community activity to Brewarrina this Easter Saturday, April 4.
Set to take place at Geoff New Oval, the event is hosted by the Barwon United Swans and will feature a ten-team men’s knockout competition, with a total prize pool of $13,000 — including $10,000 for first place.
Gates open at 8am, with the first games kicking off from 9am.
Alongside the main competition, the day will also include exhibition games for women and kids, making it a family-friendly event for the whole community.
There’ll be plenty happening off the field as well, with activities including custom face painting, a jumping castle and a dash for cash.
Entry is just $5, while children under 12 can attend free.
Organisers have confirmed the event will be fully sanctioned by NSW Rugby League, and it will be a strictly drug and alcohol-free day.
