The Benabilla Auctions Hermidale Gymkhana is set to bring a full day of country action and family fun to the region this Easter Sunday, April 5.
Kicking off bright and early, horse events will get underway from 8am sharp, showcasing local riders and plenty of traditional gymkhana action.
From midday, the focus shifts to a jam-packed family fun program, with something for everyone to enjoy. Activities include a dog jump, running races, egg toss, gumboot throw, farmers challenge and a tug-o-war — all designed to keep the whole family entertained.
For the kids, there’ll be free jumping castles and face painting, while adults can relax and enjoy full bar facilities on site.
Organisers say the Hermidale Gymkhana continues to be one of the most affordable and family-friendly days out on the local calendar, offering a great opportunity to bring the community together over the Easter long weekend.
Travellers passing through the area are also reminded that Woodhams Fuel Outlet, located at the Hermidale Hotel, has both petrol and diesel available.
