The Classic Hits Countdown is a weekly celebration of the great music of the past, presented in a fun, contemporary and engaging style. Each week the program counts down the 20 biggest classic hits from a particular year, bringing the era to life with stories and reflections on some of the pop culture moments that defined that time.
The program is hosted by Gavin Miller, a highly respected broadcaster with 38 years of experience in radio presentation, research, writing and production. Gavin began his career at 2BS Bathurst in 1988 and has worked across major Australian markets including Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. ACRA-nominated for Best Music Presenter and the former host and producer of several #1FM shows, Gavin brings deep music knowledge and industry insight to the Classic Hits Countdown each week.
