Golfers from across the region are invited to head to Wanaaring this May, with the Wanaaring Golf Club set to host its annual Combined Golf Open across the weekend of May 16 and 17.
The two-day event kicks off on the Saturday with a two-person Ambrose tournament, offering a relaxed and social start to the weekend. It’s a great opportunity for players of all levels to team up and enjoy the course in a friendly format.
Competition steps up on Sunday with the Wanaaring Open, open to both men and women who hold a Golf NSW handicap. The event is expected to attract a strong field, with players travelling in from across the region to take part.
While RSVPs aren’t required, organisers say they are appreciated to assist with catering preparations across the weekend.
The Combined Golf Open is a highlight on the local sporting calendar and a great excuse to spend a weekend in Wanaaring, enjoying good golf, good company and a strong community atmosphere.
