One of Australia’s most iconic country music performers is heading to the Channel Country, with Lee Kernaghan set to headline the Spirit of the Bush Community Concert Series in Thargomindah this March.
The free outdoor concert will be held on Sunday 29 March from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Thargomindah Sports Oval, promising an afternoon of high-energy Australian country music and strong community spirit under the outback sky.
Lee Kernaghan has long been regarded as a voice of regional Australia, with a career spanning decades and a catalogue of anthems celebrating life on the land. His performances are known for bringing communities together, and this event is expected to draw locals and visitors from across the region.
Joining Lee on stage will be special guests Luke Geiger, Robby X and Jarrad Wrigley, delivering a diverse lineup of contemporary and traditional country sounds throughout the afternoon.
The event is free to attend; however, RSVP is essential for entry and catering purposes.
A community barbecue dinner will be available on site. Bulloo Shire residents can enjoy a free barbecue dinner, with RSVP required to confirm catering numbers. Barbecue meals will also be available for purchase for all other attendees.
The concert will operate as a BYO drinks event within a designated wet area, and attendees are encouraged to bring camp chairs and gather family and friends for a relaxed afternoon of live entertainment.
Organisers say the event is about more than music — it is an opportunity to celebrate community, connection and the enduring Spirit of the Bush in the heart of the outback.

This promises to be one of the standout community events on the western calendar — and a rare opportunity to see one of Australia’s leading country artists perform live in Thargomindah.
