A Great Place to Start a Media Career
Regional media has long been one of the best places to begin a career in broadcasting and journalism.
Working in regional media gives you the chance to develop real skills quickly — from interviewing and storytelling to photography, digital media and radio production.
Instead of specialising in just one area, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple platforms while covering stories that genuinely matter to local communities.
For someone starting out in media, it can be an opportunity to build experience and confidence much faster than in larger city organisations.
