Bourke NAIDOC Week 2026

Sunday 5 to Saturday 11 July 2026 · Multiple venues including Bourke High School Hall, Central Park, Darling Park, Full Gospel Family Fellowship Church, Bourke Hospital, Bourke Bowling Club, Bachs

Celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Bourke’s Aboriginal community with a range of activities including marches, cultural ceremonies, family fun, youth events, breakfasts, luncheons, discos and competitions.

Activities: Kids and youth activities, NAIDOC March, Official Opening Ceremony with YellowBelly Band & Maranguka Dancers, Women’s Breakfast, On Country Day, Flag Raising & Morning Tea, Family Fun Day with stalls and cultural activities, ANZAC Indigenous Remembrance Ceremony, Senior’s Luncheon, Youth Event, Elders Jandra Cruise, Recognition of Bourke Aboriginal Fringe Camps Unveiling, Kids Disco, YellowBelly Band music, A Days Bowls, Music by Disco Diva’s

Admission: Lunch provided on 6 July, 8 July, and 10 July; Lunch provided and prizes to be won on 11 July
