NSW Office for Youth is inviting young people across the state to get creative for NSW Youth Week 2026, launching its annual Design a Sticker Competition for 12 to 24-year-olds.
To celebrate Youth Week, young people living in NSW are encouraged to create an original sticker inspired by this year’s theme, “Dream. Dare. Do.”
The theme was proposed by 15-year-old Hafsa, a member of the 2026 NSW Youth Advisory Council, and encourages creativity and courage — inspiring young people to dream big and take real steps to make those dreams happen.
NSW Youth Week runs from 16 to 26 April 2026, and the competition gives young people the opportunity to have their artwork showcased across the state.
Your sticker design can represent one of the three words — Dream, Dare or Do — represent all three words together, or be a general interpretation of what the theme means to you.
Entries close Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 11:59pm.
Entries will be judged across three age groups, with first, second and third prizes awarded in each category: 12 to 15 years, 16 to 19 years, and 20 to 24 years.
Before submitting your artwork, keep in mind that the final printed sticker will measure 6cm by 6cm. Designs can be created larger but must still work at the final size. Where possible, provide a high-resolution image file, scan or PDF. Please note that colours may vary slightly in the final printed version. Your design must include the word — for example “Dream” — or the full phrase “Dream. Dare. Do.” somewhere in the image.
You can hand draw your design or use digital drawing tools, but it must be completely original work. Designs that infringe copyright or use AI-generated artwork, including platforms such as ChatGPT, will not be eligible.
All winners will receive 50 sticker sheets featuring all finalist designs. Winners in each age category can choose from the following prizes: First place — an iPad A16 (256GB) or 10 NRMA driving lessons; Second place — a $400 Officeworks voucher or 5 NRMA driving lessons; Third place — a $200 Officeworks voucher.
To enter, complete the online entry form, upload a photo or scan of your sticker artwork, and provide a short explanation of how your design represents the Youth Week theme.
