2026 NAIDOC Awards
The NAIDOC Awards recognise outstanding contributions by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to improve lives, promote reconciliation and strengthen local communities in Walgett Shire.
Activities: Awards in categories such as Youth of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year, Artist of the Year, Student Citizenship Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Female Elder of the Year, Male Elder of the Year, and Emerging Leader Award.
